Born and raised in Portland, Randy has lived in Eugene since 1980. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Planning, Public Policy and Management, from the University of Oregon, and he is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s prestigious four-year Executive Fire Officer Program.

Randy and his wife Mary have been married for more than 28 years, and have raised two children through the 4j school system while living in the Churchill area. Randy has resided in Ward 8 since 1983, and has been involved in the community. Randy and Mary care deeply about our youth, and have consistently volunteered in support of them. Whether helping out in the classroom, assisting with school events and fundraising, working the chain crew at high school football games, or serving as a Churchill Area Babe Ruth Baseball coach and board member, both have sought to be involved.
